She is a recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, a Young Changjiang Scholar, the chief scientist of a National Key R&D Program project, and a core member of an Innovation Group funded by the National Natural Science Foundation. She serves as Vice Chairman of the Hunan Automation Society, Director of the Key Laboratory of Advanced Manufacturing Vision Inspection and Control Technology of the Ministry of Machinery Industry, and Deputy Director of the Membership Development and Services Committee of the Chinese Society of Image and Graphics. He has extensive experience in 3D MRI image analysis, 3D texture, quantification of normal brain ageing, and related neuroscience problems. Currently, his research interests are focused on the computer-assisted diagnosis of lung diseases and cancer diagnosis based on the whole slide imaging using Deep Learning methods. Administratively, he is a Head of the Biomedical Image Analysis Department of UIIP NASB. |
